How to contribute

Set and forget! An Automatic Payment or recurring payment is the easiest way for most people to invest.  When setting up an AP please ensure the member’s 6-digit Whai Rawa member number is entered in the reference field. Set up an Automatic Payment through your online banking either on your computer or phone or using your banking app.

Child members (15 and under) need just $0.97 a week for the 52 week calendar year to receive the current maximum Matched Savings of $200* from Te Rūnanga.

Adult members (16 and over) need just $3.85 a week for the 52 week calendar year to receive the current maximum Matched Savings of $200* from Te Rūnanga.

*Te Rūnanga matched savings and distributions are available to all eligible members under 65 years of age (see the Product Disclosure Statement) and are subject to RSCT (retirement scheme contribution tax) deducted at your personal RSCT rate (see the Other Material Information document for more details). If you do not notify us of your correct rate, you will be taxed at the highest applicable rate of 39%.

An easy way to make either a one-off or regular payment into your account is via internet banking on your computer or phone or via your banking app.

Remember that Whai Rawa is not a bank account. Please allow 5 business days for the payment to show up in your account.

IBAN is an account format used by European banks. New Zealand banks do not use this format, and an IBAN is not required to send money to an ANZ bank account. Other parties with an IBAN field on their overseas payment form can leave this field blank.

Koha is a great idea to support your whānau to a better future. It could be for a birthday or a regular contribution – whatever suits.

To help make sure your contribution to your tamariki and mokopuna is remembered, contact us to have a Koha Whai Rawa certificate sent to them (or sent to you to give to them). If you know it, please include the 6-digit reference number for the account the payment refers to.
