Brianna Tipa (Ngāi Tahu)
Having saved with Whai Rawa for 12 years, Brianna Tipa (Ngāi Tahu) will use her savings to help pay for her studies. With less stress about financial debt during study, Brianna hopes to continue dance and even pursue her passion for acting.
Brianna Tipa, 16 (Ngāi Tahu), is an avid dancer currently attending Waitaki Girls High School. Her passion is jazz, and she has been dancing for 6 years. Brianna enjoys performing in shows and loves being on stage. She also loves school and history and science are her best subjects.
Being the great niece of Nola Tipa, former Kaiarahi Mātauraka for Ngāi Tahu, Brianna was signed up to Whai Rawa as soon as the scheme was available. “Whai Rawa is going to help me a lot with my University education,” says Brianna. She currently has plans to study medicine in Dunedin. Having saved with Whai Rawa for 12 years, Brianna will use her savings to help pay for her studies.
