What is my Member Statement?

The latest member statement represents the period 1 April 2023 – 30 September 2023. This statement is an important document, and we encourage you to read it carefully. Your member statement sets out your account balance, contributions made, tax details, and returns. 

Where do I access my Member Statement?

You can view your Member Statements online at any time by logging into your account. 

Go to the login page and click the login button.  

Logging in for the first time?

You will need to reset your password. Please enter your member number (taking off the ‘0’ at the start, if there is one) then click ‘Reset your pin/password’ and follow the instructions to confirm your new password.

How do I view the Member Statements for my tamariki or mokopuna?

If you are an Account Holder for your tamariki or mokopuna (under 16 years) you will need to log into their account to access their statement. To view multiple member statements, you need to log in for each account separately.

Where are the contributions from Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu on my Member Statement?

Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu discretionary distributions and matched savings are paid in March each calendar year so, if made, you will see any Distributions on your statement to 31 March. When you log into your account, you will see that your previous  member statements are available for you to access at any time. 

My contact and/or tax details are not up to date on my statement, how can I update these?

It is important to check all your details are up to date. Please get in touch if you would like to update any of your contact or tax details

My Member Statement wasn’t attached to my email?

We are no longer emailing or posting a copies of your statement directly to you, but you still should have received an email or card in the post about your member statement. You can view your Member Statements online at any time by logging into your account.

Why didn’t I receive an email about my Member Statement?

Your communications preference may be set to post, which can take a little longer due to postal delays. If you would like to receive communications faster via email, you can do this by contacting us to update your communications preferences and email address. 

Can I request a hard copy of my statement in the post? 

If you would still like a printed copy of your statement, please request a copy by emailing us at [email protected] with your full contact details and Whai Rawa member number. 

Some of the details about how we’re being more environmentally friendly with our postage!

We only use FSC paper for your postcard which means the paper is produced using FSC Certified pulp from responsible sources and manufactured under strict environmental codes.  The print process is also toner based which is more environmentally friendly than ink based.

The best thing you can do though whānau is update your communication preference to receive our messages via email rather than in the post. Contact us now if this is something you’d like to do!
